Oklahoma’s food stole my heart this weekend! I took a long weekend to visit my sister in Oklahoma City and had a great time catching up and chowing down on some unforgettable food.

Good Gravy Diner: I couldn’t wait to eat some biscuits and gravy! This diner serves a whooping 7 different kinds of gravy including sausage, bacon and ham! I ordered the chorizo gravy and loved the zip of spice.

Eischen’s Bar: This was the best fried chicken of my life. You have to order it by the bird and eat it off of a paper spread with your hands. My fingers were burning as I pulled apart the sizzling chicken, but it was so good I couldn’t wait for it to cool down! We rounded out the drool-worthy meal with a side of fried okra. It was out-of-this-world good.
