RACHAEL RAY’S PUP-UP FOOD TRUCK

As we’ve mentioned before, food trucks are trending, so, why not get our furry four-legged friends in on the trend too? Next Thursday, Rachael will be kicking off a food truck to celebrate the release of her new line of natural wet dog food called Nutrish Naturally Delish.

The truck will open early Thursday morning near Columbus Circle in New York City then swing down to Union Square through Sunday. So stop by and get your dog a delish meal, inspired by one of Rachael’s own recipes, like “Chicken Paw Pie,” “Chicken Muttballs” and “Hearty Beef Stew.”

Stay tuned for more coverage on Rachael’s Naturally Delish Dog Food Truck this Thursday!

There are very few things that make us melt more than a delicious meal – and a playful puppy is at the top of that list. This season, extend the act of giving to our four-legged furry friends through programs like Rachael Ray’s ASPCA 100K Challenge and Iams’ Home 4 The Holidays.    For the past 13 years, Iams’ Home 4 The Holidays program has been placing pets in loving homes and feeding homeless animals. For the first time ever, getting involved is just a click away! Starting this month, every “like” or “share” click on Iams’ Facebook page during scheduled “feeding times” will feed a hungry mouth of a pet in participating shelters. To help beyond a click, for every specially marked bag of Iams pet food purchased, Iams will donate one bowl of food to a participating animal shelter. Log on or pick up a specially marked package today or anytime between now and Jan. 2 to give to a pet in need during the holiday season. Iams is hoping to give a fresh start to more homeless pets than ever before with just under 4,000 participating shelters across 23 countries,. To get involved, check out Home4TheHolidays.org or on Iams’ Facebook page.

How could you ever say no to that face?!
Animal shelters across the country are participating in Rachael Ray’s ASPCA $100K Challenge. This cute guy came from the Young Williams Animal Center in Knoxville, TN!
The Challenge is an AMAZING program that is all about getting homeless cats and dogs out of shelters and into loving homes by inviting these shelters to save more lives than ever before. In 2010, the contestants increased lives saved by more than 7,000 in the three-month time frame, and last year’s contestants increased lives saved by almost 9,000!
This year’s Challenge started a little over a month ago and has already saved almost 5,000 lives! That’s a lot of adorable faces.
Rach is a known advocate for animals and a big supporter of animal welfare groups. Did you know that 100 percent of the proceeds from Rach’s pet food, Nutrish, (inspired by her pit bull, Isaboo!) provide funding and support to organizations like the ASPCA? She also loves to home cook meals just for pets! Like Isaboo’s Butternut Squash Mac and Cheddar. See what she has to say about the Challenge.
Follow the Challenge on Twitter with the hashtags #100KChallenge and #100KSaved.
